Plymouth Rock thread!

Here is a pic of a lucky girl I have. She now only has one leg but is doing very good.

I had a barred rock roo that only had the use of one leg. We named him pogo . He got around just fine and managed to climb the ramp into the coop everynight. He died of pnemonia one winter but he live a good 2 years.

She broke her leg and it was to bad for me to splint it. So I did what I thought was right I took it off and she is just doing great so I think I did good.

I have a question about Plymoth Rocks: 3 of our chickens have died since we got them in April of 2011. And they were all 3 plmyoth rock hens. I love this breed and everything, but I was wondering if they get sick easily ? Each time they stopped eating, and their combs turned like pale-ish orange..and they stood in one spot for a long time & it looked like they were sleeping.
Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks in advance :)

I have a 6 week old Barred Rock chick named Roxie and I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that she's probably a boy. What do you all think? She has the darker legs but look at that comb!
here she is as a baby:

And 1 1/2 weeks old:

And 3 weeks:

And 4 weeks:

And now, 6 weeks:

Is there any chance she's a girl?
