The thread may be going to fast.I explain what part of their post that I don't understand and ask for them to explain.
I also think that it is just easier and less complicated. I believe many people agree with me and I can tag them so you can hear their opinions too if you want.I explain what part of their post that I don't understand and ask for them to explain.
Exactly!I explain what part of their post I don't understand and ask for them to explain.
Reactions are not meaningful feedback, they are "fun" but not meaningful. I never look at the reactions on any of my posts and rarely on someone else's posts so if I said something confusing and you reacted with a ? I would never see it so there would be nothing gained by it. If you actually replied and put a ? in the reply then I would see it and clarify but no one NEEDS a new reaction because they don't actually serve a functional purpose. The thread may be going to fast.
Yep, and as I just stated, I don't even see the reactions on my posts. I have all reaction alerts turned off and don't look at old posts to see the reactions. Words get my attention, reactions do not.Exactly!
Use the quote function to highlight what you are confused about,
the use your words to define your question.
People just don't seem to know how to discuss things anymore. SMH.
Honestly, I wouldn't care at all if they removed all of the reactions, I rarely use them and never look at them. As far as I know they only added them because the new update allowed them and then they only put in very limited ones to keep the site less FB like and more text based because this is a forum, not a place to spam emojis and such.Ok, just trying to defend my point. I understand, but I feel like it just gives a better variety of options. Don't get me wrong but why do we even have reaction if they are not meaningful enough and we could just use words? If we have them why don't we add more?
Well whats wrong with one more or being like FB? Many people use reactions when they are late to the thread or they don't think is enough to speak up. They can get rid of them but many people would not be happy. I don't see what so bad with reaction? They are there to react to the posts. Nobody is spamming emojis, they are just liking what they are seeing/hearing and encouraging them. Also, what about all those contests that depend on reactions? How would they work without reactions?Honestly, I wouldn't care at all if they removed all of the reactions, I rarely use them and never look at them. As far as I know they only added them because the new update allowed them and then they only put in very limited ones to keep the site less FB like and more text based because this is a forum, not a place to spam emojis and such.
