Plz help, I think my chicken is sick

Dehydration is a concern even if it is not the root cause of her issue she does need to continue to drink fluids or her condition will deteriorate.

How long did she sit on the eggs that didn't hatch? Normal is only 3 weeks so if the time was way longer than that she may have lost too much condition and is now struggling to recover.

I would separate her within view of the others so you can better monitor her food and water intake.

Check she is drinking. If she isn't you can use a baby medicine syringe to drop water into her mouth. It's a slow process getting the mouth open and putting a little in then letting her swallow but she needs water. Don't squirt it into her mouth quickly in case it gets in her lungs.

Check what her poops for the day look like

Check if you can get her to eat a little scrambled eggs with some of her pellets that have been softened first with warm water. I also add probiotic powder from the pet shop or you can use live culture yoghurt.

First thing in the morning feel her crop and then compare that to the feel of one of your healthy ones. Check it's not full in the morning or like a water balloon.

I'm hoping someone here can help. I have one hen that has what looks like might be an abcess or something on her chest. I first noticed it a month ago and it has steadily gotten bigger. At first I thought she had just lost a few feathers. Unfortunately she's one of eight birds I bought full grown from someone else. All the birds I bought were missing feathers on their hind quarters. The woman I purchased them from claimed it was from breeding them since she had their wings clipped (permanently) they had no protection from the roosters mounting them. She assured me that the feathers would come back in. I've had them a little over a month now. I had one die the other day from apparent heat stroke, it's pretty hot here in Texas right now. I'm just worried there may be something more going on. I am taking her to the vet on Monday. Please take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think.

Please do not hijack someone else's thread Justus. That being said your bird there is in need of a Vet asap! And feel free to start your own thread as you do have cause for concern.

Oh, I'm sorry. I really didn't intend to hijack anything. I thought I had posted in the right place. I'll start a new thread maybe. Thanks.

Hello, this is my first post on BYC. I'm sorry if I'm not posting in the right forum. I joined because I think one of my hens is sick and I want to help her.

This is Frannie. She has been acting weird the last couple of weeks- walking very slowly, not wanting to really eat or drink, and she's been sticking close to me- like she's asking for help. Her eyes look tired and sickly. And her feathers, on the top of her head and neck, seem sparse and thin. Please see the photos.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do? All of my other chickens (approx 35 in the flock) are healthy and are not acting this way.
It could be Favus. Use an anti-fugal cream like Miconazole or something similar on the comb/head.
Provide her with extra protein either through a commercial all flock feed, scrambled/hard boiled eggs, tuna, mackerel, meat, etc.
It wouldn't hurt to give her some poultry vitamins for a few days.

I'm sorry I haven't been back for a few days. Thank you everyone for your advice.
Frannie is still not well. Her beak is not dry anymore but she still looks and acts sick.
I finally got a photo of her poop. Here it is
