I have a 3 1/2 week old Cochin and just noticed that she has a pocket of air between her skin and muscle under her right wing. It is NOT her crop, it is clearly under her wing. Her skin is transparent like thin tissue paper and you can see her bones and muscle. She also seems to be overly timid compared to the other chicks in her "flock". Is this something to be concerned about?

Some people may bot agree with this but I would take a syringe needle and stab it. Let the air come out. I caponized some birds before and sometimes they would blow up with air and I would just stab it and let the air come out. Not sure what caused tis in your bird but I would say deflating it would be a good start.
