It makes sense to me now I guess I could have just googled that. Lol I didn't know about saddle feathers, plus they are 9 weeks old and only three show sure signs of rooster.

When the saddle feathers come in in a few more weeks they'll tell the truth. Just remember to look at the true shape of the feather because certain color patterns can make saddle and hackle feathers look pointy at a distance but when you examine the individual feathers closely they're actually round.

It's a fact.. once saddle feathers are coming in (usually starting by 12 weeks and showing well by 16 with 10 being the very earliest and only on rare occasion).. with exception to Seabrites which have hen feathered roosters.
Sometimes pattern can make rounded feathers look pointy.
