Hey y'all... thank you again for being such a vast, friendly and welcoming group. I've been binge-reading this forum and linked articles and I have learned so much above and beyond Storey's Guide!

Thanks to you guys, last night I noticed some of the signs of niacin deficiency and I'm countering it now. But I'm also seeing something that I have no idea whether it's a part of the niacin deficiency, a symptom of an entirely different problem, or just awkward duckling puberty things. (Googling for "duckling hock photos" to try and compare sadly results in examples of extreme disorders, or cooking recipes. Not so helpful.)

Basically the girls' hocks have gone from being smooth bulges to visibly very pointy on the front and inside, like the bone is suddenly pressing up against the skin. They don't seem hugely swollen, and the girls are still walking and swimming fine (aside from the niacin pigeon toe), and none of them show any signs of pain on palpation of the joint (just severe indignance). I've tried searching here and elsewhere and fallen short. Can anyone please help educate me on what it might be, or if it's nothing and I'm just being helicopter mom?

Sorry, when I realized I posted on a stickied thread I thought it might not be checked. Not trying to spam. 🙂 Thank you so much for responding!

I grabbed a short vid of Rose, who has the most visible version. They are settling down to bed so not very willing to walk about. I can take more in the AM. (Also, bonus stool sample. 🤦‍♀️)
