Poisonous plants/trees? Planting trees and want chicks safe!

Hi everyone,

We want to plants trees and other plants in our yard this spring, but want to make sure we aren't planting anything that will harm our new babies! Any suggestions or tales of caution??

Wow, that's a long list.
How likely are they to eat something they shouldn't? To what extent do they just know what is and isn't edible?

Chickens are pretty smart when it comes to plants...they usually know by instinct what's good for them and what's not.
