I am so ready for these two 16 week golden comets to start laying! Their sisters, who are the same age, don’t look ready, but see how red and big the combs/wattles are on these! Come on, girls!

She is a pretty girl . Golden comets can lay early...like at 14 weeks! It was super hot in SoCal a couple weeks ago though.

Pretty girls! I have black sex links which are supposed to be early layers. One of rhem started laying at 17 weeks, but her comb and wattles were bigger. The other one looks more like yours, and she hasn't started laying yet, and is almost 23 weeks.
The one that is laying had her comb and wattles change really quickly, like within 2 weeks. Here are some pictures. The first picture was at 15 weeks, and the second is at 17 weeks, when she started laying.

Thanks for the helpful info! What a change in 2 weeks!
