It's the same baby in all 3 pics and 1 day old. I've looked up pics online about male and female puffs on the top of their head! But still can't really tell. Anyone like to hazard a guess? TIA
I realise she's very young (do you like that? Im calling it a she in the hope of positive vibes making it a she!!!) The only reason I ask is because I saw an article online saying that you can tell with polish chicks when they're a day old - 3 days old. Subtle differences apparently. Unfortunately this type of sexing is not 100% accurate. Whilst it can sometimes be the case with a lucky guess I certainly wouldn’t cull any males just going by this. I’ve had nice rounded heads turn out to be males and smaller ones turn out to be female.
I have some coming up 5 years old and they are still looking good. Still good layers too in the summer.
