My 3 month old polish has no feathers on her head ***?

Ouch! What other birds are in with the Polish? It's very possible that they are being ripped out.

I keep my polish separate from my other breeds due to the others not being able to leave a crest alone. Can you separate them? And is it just the one bird?

Right now someone in my flock is pulling the beards off my polish roo and eggers. I'm trying to figure out who it is. I can't show a plucked looking roo.

Hi everyone, my Maden is experiencing the same thing. Dried blood and balding head. Please help. How to solve this? Any medication? Ointment? Help help!!!!

Polish can't be with anyone but Silkies. Cochins seem to do alright, but I wouldn't count on it. Crested birds can't be with non-crested because it's different a the non-crested can't take it and just HAVE to pluck it out. It's terrible. I have to keep my Polish seperate for this reason.
For now, put some neosporin on it and keep her away from all non-crested chickens...or chickens at all. Now that it's started they won't be able to resist :-/

Yes, I separate all my Polish from my Silkies, otherwise, the Silkies will be bullied. I have two coops, one for the Polish and one for the Silkies. But, the problem is this one is the worst case. I have a silver polish that is balding on the side, but I don't think it's that bad.
Is there any spray or ointment to prevent pecking? How did you resolve your problem with your flock?
I'm so new to this....and I love my Polish!
