Hi everyone! I'm new here and was after a little advice.
We recently went to a poultry auction and brought a polish bantam rooster. It was a spur of the moment thing but we have really fallen in love with him. We have now gotten him 3 polish hens and they all seem to get along really well. I've been doing a little reading up on the breed and have found that they are a non-sitting breed. I know silkies go broody easily, should we look for a silkie hen to sit on the polish eggs?
Thanks for all your help.

! You're right, polish aren't really all that broody. A silkie would be great for hatching out eggs, and as a bonus, you could easily tell her eggs apart from the others, so if you didn't want mixed breeds that would be easily avoidable. Just make sure you quarantine her before introducing her to your flock if you do get one.
