Polish Chicken feet, is this normal?

I purchased a Polish Hen and Roo today from the local auction, when I got them home I put them in quarantine I noticed their feet. Not sure this is normal or not and I knew where I could get the right answer.

That is scaly leg mites for sure. What you need to do is clean the legs real good, then mix some sevin dust with some petroleum jelly (vasceline) and coat the legs twice daily. they will be looking better in no time!
 
Search threads for "scaley leg mites." Ivermectin orally and topically plus vaseline or bag balm slathered on the legs. That's an advanced case of scaley leg mites. Do not scrape their legs clean. Once the mites have been killed, the scales will start sloughing off. Those feet and legs are in such bad shape, that they may never regrow normal scales. Also judging by the spurs they are probably quite old and egg production and fertility may be diminished.
