Polish chicken gender/ feather trimming. Please help!

Hi, we have a silver laced polish, who is about 10 weeks old. Her head feathers are out of control and she clearly has trouble seeing. We tried to clip the head feathers but she just won't keep her head from moving. Is there anything else we can do to her? Thanks.
Also we think she is hen. Is she or is she a rooster?

It is a hen. Also when I trim my Polish's crest I just have to be very careful and take my time. It is very hard to keep the hen from moving. I usually get someone to hold my hen while I cut her crest feathers. Just take your time and go slowly. I hope this helps

I believe she IS a she, WOW she does have a hair problem. Trim carefully on that beautiful bird. I think my rooster "avatar" just fell in love!
