hi i was wondering what these guys are like. mean, nice, easy to breed get along with others easy. i would like to get some but was wondering if they would go well in a bachelor pen or not.

I always had to keep all my Polish separate from everything else. The limited eyesight caused them to be more timid and got picked on severely. The roosters were more aggressive, but they still were at the bottom of the pecking order of all the roosters.

I had some killed by the other chickens, so thats when I built a pen to keep all my Polish in.

My polish are very nice. The roosters just let me pick them up. The hens are a little more shy. Mine have better vision than my silkies but I still keep them penned since they cant see hawks coming.

My polish are easy to work with and handle. They are slightly skiddish when outside. But come running and are fine once they are picked up. I keep only Polish together.

Mine also are only seasonal layers, March to October. Hatch rates on WC blacks has been at 85%, blue's much lower at 45%.

I love their odd little personality and the way their heads bobble when they walk. All of my roosters have been none aggressive except one from this latest hatch and he is getting better everyday.

SunChick, If you were asking about where to get Tolbunts, they are very rare and difficult to hatch due to inbreeding so there are rarely any available.
