This is Miriam who is 3 months old. I have my first two Polish this year and her crest moves around and slides over one of her eyes. The other Polish I have has a crest that stays put. Her eye that is always closed seems healthy and I have been trimming her feathers to help balance the weight of the crest but it is still asymmetrical. While I am assuming this isn't normal, and might always be like this, anyone else had a Polish like this that remained healthy? I briefly considered using some super glue to tack down some feathers on the other side to help hold the crest in place but not sure that would end well, lol. The first photo is of her always open eye. Second and third are of her closed eye.

Her left eye area seems a bit swollen as well, so I would look into her eye to note any feather or foreign body, look for bubbles or milky drainage. She might have a respiratory disease or a peck wound that has caused the swelling. Let us know what you find. Saline eye wash is sold at most pharmacies, and you can apply a couple of drops to they eye and wipe it with a tissue. Remove any pus in the eye. If you bubbles or pus, then add an antibiotic ointment such as Terramycin or plain Neosporin twice a day.

As for her poof, that is something she may need to live with. I used to have 2 polish hens whose feathers I trimmed around their eyes, somthey could see.
