Polish Chickens almost 5 weeks old (hen or roo)

I’m dealing with wry neck now!! Any advice? We are 4 days in and today isn’t her best day

Yes!! I went to tractor supply and I got this goat stuff, selenium and vit E
First night I cut open one of my vit e and put drops in her mouth, then I crushed a vit b complex mixed in yogurt - but sometimes she won’t take so I would open her beak and put it in myself with a dropper - vit E is so important!! I did this everyday for a week and by day 3 she was so much better!!!

@DolceVita Day 4 was the worst for me too, but once I got the selenium and vit e in her she was pearking back up.. I did 3 x a day - if you can’t get that you can crush up vits but it’s hard to dose
Veggies like broccoli and spinach are high in both those and sunflower seeds!! Good luck! Let me know if you have more Q

What’s a good week to try and play the guessing game lol I know it’s always 50/50 I just don’t want my son to get too attached - we have a great place incase we get a roo but can’t have one where we are now - but have an amazing friend who has lots of room incase we end up with a roo thank you for your reply!

Thank you, so the darker one is more a roo style - shoot that’s my sons fav... he loves this one.. he calls it his little muffin baby!
