I haven't ever had this breed before so I am confused about what is happening to these guys. They seem to be missing feathers on their backs and a couple of them have really thing tails. I don't see any feathers on the ground or in their hutch so I don't think they are molting. They aren't very old they are still chicks so I think I'm sure that the missing feathers aren't because of the rooster. Can anyone tell me if this is normal

I think youll have to wate maybe their going to encounter their feathers soon if they arent take them to a vet

Really do could this just be a growth thing? I thought that at first but I don't want to make any mistakes

Take a look at their tails on the skin and in the top hats to make sure your birds don't have bugs. If they do, use Frontline + ; one drop under each wing and one drop in the middle of the neck. (just in case roosters are mating you don't want them eating any so, never right behind the comb/tophat. If it is just growing their "shiny feathers" and getting rid of most of the downy feathers, don't worry! Good luck with your Tophats!
