Hey Polish People,
I mean Breeders, not those of you folks with Polish ancestors!
Is it normal for the little Pols to have their top feathers look like these?

All 6 of my little Puffy Heads are losing their fluff on their heads and it looks like they went to a really bad barber.
Is this the normal look of a 2-week old Polish?
Thanks.

Yep. They tend to go through some pretty hilarious stages - They start to have a head of white pins, then some weird feathers that look as if they were butchered by the barber, then a full head of feathers, then from there it fulls up more and more, as if it is a foam that is constantly growing.

I didn't think they were getting pecked or anything, they usually do that to the others. Just checking that this was the norm, since this is my first time with Polish. My daughter is finally saying it correctly, she is just 8 and kept saying "polish" like "go polish the furniture". I think that they are going to be very handsome birds when they fill out. The rest of the feathers are coming in very nicely. I have at least 3 pullets if the feathering says anything. Of course, that would mean I have 3 cockerels too
