Hi everyone! This has been such a great wealth of info and I need some help. I bought two sexed polish pulleys from a local breeder about six weeks ago. They were supposed to be POL. They were still cheeping so I knew they were pretty young. 6 weeks later they are still not making full “chicken” sounds. As I researched I found out one was definitely a roo so called her and exchanged. Now I think the one I exchanged for is also a roo. I named her Chile and feeling sad. Just want confirmation before I call to exchange again. So hoping I am wrong. She didn’t know the exact age as she said they were all different ages. I can’t keep Chile as I have a massive rooster already.
Thank you all for you valuable input.

That is 100% a cockerel.

Thank you…I was pretty sure of that. Guess I will be calling her. One more question…if I get another puller from her will the other puller I have bond with her? It has been tough I’m assuming because it’s a roo to interstate the two polish with my existing flock. Will it get easier with two hens?

It may, but it’s sill gonna be hard. Polish are weird, you know? Other hens don’t like them because they look different. So make sure they don’t pick on them too hard.

Thanks. I was so enamored with their good looks…should have done more research.
