Polish hens

Hello i have two polish hens that have been laying for about a month. They give me each an egg a day. And we collect daily. Just today we introduced one to a rooster. How long after they mate will her eggs become fertile? Note she was not with a rooster before.

agree with Sourland but, the rooster with just one hen, is liable to overbreed her seriously. A rooster can handle 10 hens - one hen is a sitting duck.

Thank you! Unfortunately my other hens are to big yet too young. I have 4 barred rock and the 2 polish
