Maybe a rooster.jpg

I have 4 PC that at 7 weeks have wattles, and at least 2 of these have been seen and heard trying to crow. Certainly not a sound any of my other chicks have made. I may have to re-home 4, any ideas who would like some PC roosters? They look almost identical to the first picture in this post, except for red wattles and jagged comb below the white crest.

I would guess female. My profile picture is a male polish, at just about 6 weeks. Just before we moved them to the coop, one of the 4 males we had began trying to crow. All of them had waddles. We had to give the roosters away because we are not allowed to have roosters in Newport News, VA. Now at nearly 5 months only one of my 6 hens has a waddle. I am still a newby with chickens though and learning as I go.

We are trying to figure out if this polish is a Male or Female. Is there anyone who can help? Thank you! He/she is about 15 weeks old

Still baffled with my white crested black polish who’s a year old - bc I have 2 giant beautiful Jersey hens (that act like roosters) and are the sweetest bc I have 1 (for sure)silver laced polish hen and 2 Wyandotte hens but this one polish has me baffled. I trimmed his/her head feathers last winter bc of the cold wetness in pacNW and was worried about it and now I’m just hearing a little whisper of a “cock-a-doodle-do” at times and it goes down when I approach to pick up just like a hen would do but my hen Jersey giants did this too so I’m at a loss with my white crested black polish sexing. It’s super sweet but sometimes a jerk to the other hens and my dog sometimes ruffles its neck feathers when my dog has to pee but so did my Jersey giant hens until this one came along. Please help bc if he’s a HE I want to leave the eggs alone and let them hatch and if not …I don’t want to have rotten eggs to deal with. Thank you and I pray I finally know what it is:)
