Polish mix broody

I'm not sure as you can see she has dark legs and feathers on her feet also her waddles and comb are also dark. Silky is a possibility I really don't know but she is a good egg hatcher
I'm pretty sure she's a silkie. My silkie mix looks almost exactly like that besides the saddle feathers. And if it's a good egg layer it isn't PURE silkie.

She lays 3 times a week. She has only been off the last chicks for about a month and she is broody again. With a hen like this what do I need a incubator for?

Yeah silkies are good mommas. Does she have 5 toes and grey legs? That means for sure part silkie. I don't think she has any polish or not a lot. That 'fluff' on her head looks more like silkie fluff. Polish have much bigger heads of 'hair', and they are more feather-y.

I don't know much about silkys so I'll take your word for it I never counted her toes. Her eggs are light brown or tarnish. Probably what my cream legbar is mixed with

I see no silkie feathers there...now I don't know from silkies but still, aren't all the mixes fluffy feathered?

A broody polish is very rare to come across. Polishes are bred for showing, not brooding. I've only had one polish go broody but the moment I found out she broke out of it on her own. It looks like you might have a black silkie x some sort of polish breed.
