Ah ok. I Didnt buy him from a breeder so you never know. The same person gave me a supposed andalusian too but it was mixed breed.

How old are they? How quickly were you able to sex them? Mine still has me guessing.

At about 12 weeks I was sure. They were growing saddle feathers, and acting like roos. Sadly, all but one of the hatch had really bad wry tail, so just the one pullet remains. Her color is awful, but she's sweet and a good layer. I won't breed her though.

Meet Ramon, 5wks old today! Ive been looking at pics of other 5wk olds and now Im not sure anymore if He's a He or a She! I know the only way to tell is when they lay an egg or crow, but.... any guesses?

My guess is a He by the crest. But it is too soon to be positive. Ramon is a cutie, either way.

My 'Silkie' chick! I told the breeder that 'she' looked like no Silk that I have ever seen. "So, what's she mixed with"? I asked...

"Ohhh, that's a SLP! Her cuteness factor blew me away and has made me an 'instant' Polish fan! I would have laughed you outta town had you asked me that a week ago! Jokes on me though...I am in love...I see now where you all have excellent taste. Took me awhile, but now I get 'it'. Lol.

Just acquired a Polish trio. Blue crested white (white poof on blue). One girl is laying, the other is not. No clue on their ages (roo has HUGE claws), but I'm in love! Trying to add to my flock, so should I get a frizzled? Any and all suggestions welcome!
