This pullet looks exactly the same as my other 2 except she has a smaller crest and this funny comb. Mixed breed? Sorry about the pic shes camera shy.

One look at a Polish and I was in love. I have Silver Laced and 2 others I got as "surprise eggs"

this is Nemo. He turned out to be a she! She was born with only one wing but she doesn't know that. All my chickens are loved the same....and unconditionally

.....my GW is Elvis who also turned out to be a girl. She is still called Elvis, and she was my other surprise egg with Nemo.

Tex and T-Bone... I call them the Twins. They never leave each others side and CAN be aggressive until I catch them by the tail when they're doing their little dance around me and get them in my arms then they settle down. These are all 7 months old that I hatched myself.

My Silver Laced Polish...she needs a hairband... Anyone ever give their polish a haircut? :) I trim my Polish girls feathers around their eyes so they can see better, mostly for self protection . They have a big disadvantage over the other chickens because they can't see anything coming up behind them. My boys really love them so they need to see them coming! Lol!

I got 2 polish chicks a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I believe the breeder was dishonest with me. Lesson learned. I was told I was getting 2 Tolblunt Polish pullets. They were about 4 weeks when I purchased them. After reading more I don't think they were sexed and I don't think they are a tolblunt in color. What are your thoughts hen or roo? Also any idea what color they are considered. I think the mainly black chicken is a roo and the other white chicken is a hen but I could be very wrong. I have only owned Buff Orpingtons and a Silkie that took months to sex. Thanks in advance for any help.
