Polish pullet or roo?

My kids named it Attention Seeker (say that 3x fast) This one came out of a bin called "assorted bantams." Ha! He/she is taller than all my standards The brown stuff is pine tar as everyone pecked all the saddle feathers off a few days ago, but now are leaving it alone. Thoughts on gender?

Who knows...but definitely not an "assorted bantam" as the mystery bin said He may be a mutt, but he's my mutt.​

I think they put these in with the bantams sometimes because the breed is not a very large one. I love the buff coloring - it's beautiful!!
