Polish Roo

Walked out to my coop yesterday a.m. and heard what is an attempt at crowing...of course I did not realize I had a roo! I believe it is a polish that my daughter just had to have several months ago. My question is, can a polish roo mate with standard size chickens (i.e. Barred Rock, New Hampshire, BCM, etc.) since he will be much smaller then they I do not know if it is possible. Am hoping not...

Depends on how much smaller he is than your girls. I have d'uccle who's maybe 1/3 the size of most of my girls. Only based on dirty areas on some of their backs, I know he's getting some action. But my eggs aren't fertilized. He's just too small for his area to line up with their area

Maybe if your roo is at least half their size???
