Polish Silkie Mix

I got this beautiful baby from the polish bin at the feed store. She looks very different from the other polish and I suspect she maybe a mix of polish and silkie. What do y'all think?

They’re different colors. That why they don’t look alike.

Color has nothing to do with it. I'm looking at eye size and shape, shape of face, and Crest size and shape. I have both silkie and polish hens so I'm familiar with both breeds.

Was the bin marked Polish or Crested? Do you know what hatchery the feed store gets its chicks from?

The bin was marked crested but the lady called them polish. They use Ideal, or at least that's what the ancient sign says.

I wondered. It almost looks more like a Silver Spitzhauben chick than a Polish "assuming Silver Laced". Ideal use to sell Spitzhaubens but they don't list them on the website this year.

Looks like that's definitely a possibility
