good to hear, I saw some pics of the blues you've been hatching, looks like good color but they'll need some new blood to get that knob back on their skull. You can if you have to use WC Black then select against the white in the crest. It takes awhile to breed it back out but can be done.

ya i knotced that ur birds have good knobs the hens have good type small knobs

Just feel mlike I am at a stand still.

Thinking of giving them to a breeder friend, if they want them

Nope if I get out of my polish they are just going to be given away to a friend of mine. No Sales !

Like most other breeds I've worked with they will be given away to breeder friends for enjoyment & showing.

What ever is left behind will be culled off.

No shipping for me.

I'ts wierd, Iv'e worked with them for 5yrs & have shown them for 3yrs.

I can't imagine myself with out polish.

I'm pretty sad. The 10 week old GLB roo is now sick. Today he was doing the drunken wing walk, and "silent gasp". This is the 3rd one out of 10 hatched, all 10 weeks old. Does anyone think that some groups of same breed chicks have a real poor immune system?

The other 2 had gotten it a month ago. Since then, the group has been moved , gotten new feed, clorox'ed everything, and still I have another sick.

Here's my only Polish, a Silver Laced. I used to have 3, but two of them came to me sick and they died. This one is doing fantastic, though. Her name is Cricket. I'm pretty sure it is a pullet, she has REALLY skinny legs. I love her punk rock hairdo, it's different every day! I can't wait to see what she looks like as a grown hen. She is 4.5 weeks old and sleeps in a brooder in my husband's shop until she gets bigger. She is teeny tiny right now. She hangs out with 3 other chicks that were hatched on the same day that I got from another person. They are great buddies now.

She is my favorite chicken so far. We got very attached while she was alone.
