Possible 2011-12 breeder, silver laced polish cockerel. He's still young so we will see.
He has nice thick lacing, He's 4 months old or so.

as you can see he's much too orange and his tail is too high for longterm breeding.

Vcomb! Beautiful roo! I mean yours!

I've heard on here multiple times that using a WCB will darken ? colors. I hatched a few chicks a few years ago, that were BLP hen and WCB roo, and what I got was off-white with some black specks/spots. With the WCB, how did the birds end up white?

I bought these locally as week olds back in April. Bought 4 so naturally 3 were roosters.

2 roosters have been re-homed with a friend.

Looking for some feed-back from the experts

Then girl is really nice but also thin and small, and appears to have drop-wing. The male also seems to have drop-wing and I hope he fills out more.

Otherwise, very nice lacing and pretty good body. But drop-wing is a DQ and will pass onto the offspring especially if both have it.

From what I've seen crossing wc black extends the black to most of the plumage, making the bird mostly black. usually some white stays in the crest, and maybe some silver or gold in the hackle, saddle, and shoulder of males. Since you crossed to a buff lace the black of the wc black spread through the entire body, but was then masked over by the dominant white gene of the buff lace. since the bird had only one copy of the dom. white gene part of the black leaked through to get the bird you had.
