Looks like a pullet to me.

I hope she is a pullet! My daughter says that she is not changing her name, so it will be Ralph the Hen! lol

Yesterdays hatch. He is all black except his face which is reddish. This one is from the mixed blue hens and pure blue roo as well.

It's born! Yeah! I know, seems like, as many as I hatch, I shouldn't be so excited every time but I am

. I believe this one is black too(another mix of the blue hens with the blue roo although this one is from a different hen than the last one--egg much more white instead of light beige). Should be interesting, he has white dots behind his eyes and he is huge but then he came from a bigger egg. White on his neck and wing tips. Anyway, pictures to come, probably tomorrow morning. May be a few days before I have another one hatch, lol.

Our polish has started vocalizing the past few days...she sounds more like a goose! This morning a flock of geese flew over and it was so funny, she heard them and ran out of the house and made her goose sound. I thought I would die laughing! I guess you just had to be there. That kind of goes right along with her behavior! (she has quiet a personality).

Now I had not noticed that sound with my splash Polish but the buff laced make that goose type of sound. The first time they did it, I looked all over trying to find out which pen had a problem or sick bird, lol.

I think ours is a buff also, I wonder if that's what they sound like? I just thought it was so funny that she ran out when she heard the geese, it was like she thought they were calling her!

There are 5 hens(one is young) two frizzled and three not, two of these are bearded and one isn't.

I don't have any recent pictures of the ones that aren't frizzled but here is a picture from about a month and a half ago
