OK, a question for all you Polish gurus out there. I saw an auction on eBay last night for Polish eggs. Now, this same person has had the same auction up a lot and I have glanced at it, but never really looked at it seriously because I won't buy eggs off of eBay. Well, I was actually reading down thru it last night and noticed that the auction said they have lavender Polish. I have never heard of or seen a Lavender Polish. So, I sent them an email asking if they had pictures of it. My response was pretty terse, that one of the pics was of the Lavender. Well, I went back and looked and either they are bad at taking pics, or someone is getting screwed. The bird looked like a splash to me. So, is there Lavender Polish?


The other thing that got me was they were selling them as Frizzle polish for all the eggs and not explaining to people that they aren't going to hatch out all frizzled chicks. Plus, the title had Tolbunt in it, which I am assuming was to get people to look at it. Not one pic of a Tolbunt, nor did it say you were guaranteed to get Tolbunt eggs. It was a 6 egg auction, but didn't say exactly what colors you would get.

I also asked if they had them separated by color and the answer was "they are separated as they are in the picture all in one pen." So, from the sounds of that, you aren't even guaranteed to get acceptable colors.

Does this sound fishy to anyone else?
