Beautiful pictures of your birds you guys! I mean STUNNING!!!

My first hatch was Polish and or Houdan. (The company I got the eggs from said the Houdan’s stopped laying so they would send me what they had from the crested pens.) So here are a couple of pictures.

If anybody could help me determine if the black ones are Houdan’s or Polish I'd be much obliged. I'm pretty sure the white crested one is Polish, but then again, it could be mottled.

On a side note, two of these birds have double toenails on their middle toes, and the white crested has a cross beak. Are there more anomalies present with crested varieties then others?

Also how do you get a crele ? (sp?) they are AWESOME!

Houdans will have 5 toes like a silkie. These look more like Crevecoeur to me.

ETA: The top one does appear to be a White Crested Black.

Red Earlobes means it's a Crevie
White Earlobes is a Polish.

I m in the proccess of getting Bearded Black Polish myself

LF White Polish are really hard to come across, esecially good SQ ones
