I have failed at sexing Polish more than I've been right, even at a few months old. However, sexing my Silkies is real easy-my flock only produces girls. Not a joke.

Thanks cmsdvm!!! I know exactly what you're talking about, however, I didn't realize it could be an indicator of sex! When my next batch of Polish chicks hatches, I will separate them into two groups by crest shape and test your theory!!! Will let you know how it works!

I'm a little fuzzy on this....so i'm going to take pics of all of my chicks when they arrive and hope everyone can help me out... head shots, right? I can do that...
