That is really sweet. My hubby missed our two roos so much he wanted me to hatch some more Polish because we have 5 girls and no man.

I sometimes do lose a few feathers- not enough to worry about. I like the masking tape that says "14 day release," and is about $8, the cheap stuff is awful.

I use the blue painter's tape, which works pretty well. It doesn't stick to the feathers too much. I've never tried the masking tape, so I can't compare the two.

I got my polish bantams today

it is a quad from shellyb1969 they are adorable the roo is frizzled. the roo and two hens are WCB the other hen is cuckoo. two of the ladies laid eggs in transit
