THey love to sleep on top of a cardboard box that I put in the pen. They lay there with their heads hanging over. THey look like vultures. I put them out for day visits in the big pen but I bring them back in at night. We can still have chilly nights till after Easter.

My new polish family.

Bearded hen and mean pullet. She is soooooooo mean, all the other chickens run from her. Both the boys are petrified of her. It may be a long breeding season!

Other pullet with BIG poof.

Bigger of the two roos, and the nicer looking of the two. The small guy refused to have his pic taken!

I was thinking of showing the larger roo and the bearded hen, but I don't think her crest will grow back in time for this year's shows(it was trimmed by the previous owner)
