yes very slow growing tail. it has large wings but its tail feathers are only about an inch and a half long. I was a little worried

We have 2 Polish.....they are our 1st chickens. We are not positive about their colors as yet, but we think one is a Buff Laced Polish and one is either a black or a blue crested ?? We are newbies so we're clueless.

What do the black crested chicks look like this young?

tilly is white crested blue, the other is buff laced. would tilly like a friend. I have a WC black with a very slight cross beak that needs a pet home. I'm about an hour south of St' louis but hubby works in the loop.

I wonder if any of you have any eggs or chicks available for me to buy? my first time with polish and I bought some bearded buff laced and some white crested blues & blacks and they were shipped. I was sooo excited about having them only to find out they have detached air cells, air bubbles and some were infertile. 3 out of the 25+ eggs looked ok but none hatched. I am sooo bummed and I want to have some..

Sooo can anyone help me out please. I like the above colors but wouldn't mind other colors either.looking for LF if possible. Please pm me if anyone does...
