Thanks I have 18 forsures both bantam and standards . My total number of birds is like 65 ish but I'm planning on keeping about 30 total. I've been selling the extras and giving some to family and friends.

it sucks how you have to start with so many just to get the stock you want. I bought 45 and will only keep about half that.

I think I have 2 pullets 2 cocks? what do you think? The 2 in front I think are pullets according to your description, the dark one in pic3 and the one bottom rt on pic 2 I think are cocks. Will you look and tell me if you agree? PLEASE

It almost looks like 3 girls and a boy. But I cant quite tell. Usually hens have a poofier crest

I know I''ve done it 7 times. I bought eggs online twice , ordered tolbunts , from ideal 3x and Murray mcmurray 3 times. That's just because I had to wait for the breeds I wanted. I only did that so I can breed the very best and have a diverse gene pool. Plus half the time u have to get straight run so I order 5 to make sure I'll hopefully get one female or viceaversa. I'm from a small town so it's funny trying to get rid of the extras. I think everyone within 20 miles of me is stocked up on them now I think I bought 150 since spring lol

check out polish breeder club website under genetics it's kinda intense but it kinda explains colors and how to get what . The coolest think I read was about how if u breed a white roo with a black hen u can get a ton of colors because if the roo isn't a true white they will hide colors since males contribute color. I recently hatched eggs online and I have two white smooth Frizzled males that I'm dieing to breed to my black frizzle hen since I have know idea what the parents looked like it should be interesting. To see if they are true whites or not. But they also have info on washing out gold and stuff .

I totally think that the yellowish is male other three Forsure female . I just got my bcw today along with some redcrested reds I feel that theese two breeds overall have smaller crest . Vs. A white crested black or blue that look like the have marvels on their heads. I have 7 bcw and 4 have small poof s and 3 look like a normal chick but I just got these today so I'm no expert lol

Funny enough I just discovered they came from another BYC'er...I was gonna buy a hen from Raven 1 and discovered she had them before me. Their eggs will be hatching this weekend. 90% fertilization rate. 10 eggs were put in & 9 are fully developed and should be piping the next few days. I will gladly sell you fertile eggs as soon as these hatch and I can verify their health.

Anyways I was waitlisted for spring and Ideal called me Tue and shipped me my bcw Wed I just got them today but maybe spring we could egg swap or something to enhance gene pools ! A ladies gunna trade me one of her bcw for one I've mine hers came from Oregon.
