The babies are so cute. I love the Frizzles I want frizzles!! But for now I am just happy that my baby may really be a hen. I am so excited! These chickens are so pretty!

Indeed they are and not too bad really...it looks like a pair as well. It's a good start. My trio came from a lady in here in Middle Tn. they were the result of the second generation of birds that were originally gotten from a hatchery up north. She said they were the best of a 1yr breeding program. Those would be a good first generation. Bu just so you are fully aware the white birds you have, have a counter part that has a jet black crest, and black laced body. I think you could breed them to the white with a white crest and get some more good first generartion birds.I have one like that that, I'll take some picture and post for you!

the one on the lt isn't too bad.and could be forgiven if the crest is perfect...the one on the rt ...Gosta Go!! LOL
I can't tell is the Lt one a hen?it looks kinda like it might feather out like Fran.

I love frizzle too

. I want frizzled WC Black/Blue. I have 5 wcb's and 2 solid blue hens only with a few white feathers in their crest but I'm sure it won't take long to get good clean crests..especially with Albert as thier sire...He's my Avatar!!! and my baby!!!

I like Tolbunts but have no room as I am working on 3 breeding programs. The BCWs,WCB frzl, and my favorite..Lavender Spangled Polish Bantams!!!!! Breeding some Lavender Splash Polish hens to Porcelain D'uccles and a WCB Roo to PD hens! Kippen jungle says that's the best chance of getting the Lavender and Spangled gene into Polish. If my Frizzle BCW is a Unicorn. Then these Lavender Splash Hens I found at the same farm are the Yedi and Bigfoot.

These are My best: On the Lt the cockerel note the solid black crest and darkening neck feathers. On the Rt is the pullet with a beautiful crest and breast speckling !!!Very excited about these two as they have different mothers!


My other pullet is this black laced one that I was thinking could possibly go with the white crested to improve color of both!!!??? You can see the cock 1st pic and pullet 2nd pic again. and behind the black pullet in pic 3 are the "perfect" cock and the 4th chick a speckled cock that will be sold with his mother next friday @ the Triple W exotic auction.






In picture 1 are the two LSplash Hens with the Porcelian Duccles for color comparison...very close huh?

Pic 2 has my WCB hens and My Frizzled Blue Hens with the Porcelain's and Lav. Splash. Last pic is PD pullet so you can see the color I want. Tolbunt used red and spangled...I want lavender and spangled.





Pic 1 Audrey's flaws pictured..white in crest, lacing. Note how white she is.Note silver cape and saddle in pic 2 flaws. Pic 3 note flaws lacing on breast,flecks of blue/black in feathers. Note full black crest.

The Unicorn with more feathers, She has a very dark crest but would go good with the roo in Pic 2 in the row above! they will be together and any eggs hatched to try to get a Frizzled Roo with good color.
