This is my "guaranteed" pullet! I've only had hens before, but he's been really nice so far, so I guess i will keep him around. Can anyone critique him for me? He's supposed to be a buff laced?

I'm not sure, but I can tell you he looks better than the buff laced chick in my brooder that is turning out to be almost pure white lol

Is it difficult to tell gold colored Polish from the silvers when they are baby chicks?

Nope if you click on left of your screen "breeds" Theres some terrific examples!

Roo feet tend to bigger and that bit chunkier but I've found that happens more once they reach maturity. That's not to say it does not work for other people.

Hope your blue kote head one recovers, polish tend to attract a lot of unwanted attention with their fancy crests.

Is that the cow stuff? Had to ask about that.
