I'm new to Polish and am wondering about their temperament. Are they as calm as Silkies?

I'm finding they always freak when I open the cage,but soon as I scoop them&cuddle they calm down.

I have found taming them from being small the best way. Some can be flighty and spooky but speaking to them before you approach them is always best. With their crests they can't always see you so giving them a warning you are there works really well. I've found them to be quite laid back friendly little birds who really enjoy attention and lap sitting.

Do you have hens with them? How bad are the attacks? How old are they? Some will live happily together once they have established a pecking order but others will not amd could fight to the death.

Yes 5 they just turned 1 year. the blue can see much better. The attacks are not to bad just he will not let him roost. Sometimes not even eat. He will however let him breed with any hen.
