I just re-read what I wrote. I feel as if I came off rude, I'm sorry. I would never kill a bird (unless I was going to eat it) just because he/she wasn't pretty or to standard. Trust me. None of the chickens I raise are standard colors but I do try to raise them to look like they're supposed to in everything else. The ones not good enough for breeding would just go to the layer only pen or get given away or sold as layers only.

No they will just be pets Elvis was white and loved his look.

Sadly yesterday we lost Elvis my 6 week old Polish boy to a freak accident/suicide. NOTE TO ALL do not move things around while your babies are out.
Elvis left behind Prescilla along with his estate Graceland. He was only here a short time but his chirps are missed.
