Is it possible.. I thought she would be the LAST to go broody.. Only after 2 months of egg-laying.. She has been laying on a nest of two golfballs for 3 days.

I thought both of these breeds never went broody, so what's up? Is there a nice way to stop her? I don't want to dunk her in cold water.. Especially when it is already cold outside

yes it is possible. I have one polish that likes to go broody. there is always exceptions to the rule. chickens can't read their breed descriptions

My pure polish just refuses to lay. She was POL when we got her in Aug. Not a single egg! Guess I should count my blessings
