Polite Rooster

Is anybody else out there as lucky as I am to have a roo that doesn't crow until I let him out of the coop.
He's only been crowing for a week and we've let him out at varying times. Sunday was 8:30 and he still waits till he's outside to sing his song.
Will this last, is this common? I hope so!

I think it is quite uncommon. All roosters I've had start making a racket as soon as dawn cracks - in or out of the coop.

I agree with redsox...I had 4 roosters (3 became dinner) and I had been woken up plenty of times BEFORE the sun came up ( 5 a. m. is WAY too early for me to be woken up by crowing roosters!). Even now with only one roo (Zeus, he's 21 weeks tomorrow) I still get woken up sometimes to his racket...and all before I let my chicks out of the coop into the run.

I wish Zeus was like your roo!!

LOL, spoke too soon. Crowing at 6:30 this morning BEFORE I let him out.
