I keep mine confined for predator reasons, but I can speak to the value of a good power washer.

We had hired a neighborhood kid to mow our lawn at our last place and the mower was a self propelled one. He accidentally let grind grass into our tan patio. A hosing off didn't help very much, but the powerwasher made quick work of it. Unless it is cemented on, the powerwasher is only going to take a few seconds of concentrated blast to bring it back to clean pavement.
 
I think I'd park my car on the street. If I couldn't, I'd spray the area around the car with peppermint or something else they don't like the smell of.
I'm going to try some peppermint essential oil, I use it along with unscented laundry detergent, it's cheap, better than the chemical fragrances.
Hope this works. My hens don't seem to mind my yelling or waving the fake snake, right back on the porch, those rascals!
