poll: do you make your bed everyday?

We don't make it in the morning....but at night, right before bed, I make it and it has to be just right or I can't sleep...hubby thinks I'm loco...LOL

All the beds get made every morning after breakfast, at the latest. I can't stand an unmade bed. The kids have to make their own beds. That is one of their chores.

I remember an interview with Paul McCartney years ago, and he mentioned that he taught is wife (Lynda), how to make a bed. He went on to explain how his mother had taught him how important making a bed is - kinda self respecting... and how lovely it is when you're tired after a long day and you can uncover your clean and crisp bed ... and also that you spend 8 hours nestled in it.

Anyway, I'm not into stars and what they say, but Paul's mother's belief stuck with me. I make my bed everyday...mostly early in the morning.

ps. it makes the room look nicer too.

i get up at 5 and go to work, husband just got in bed at 3, he won't get up til 10 or 11, i like a nap at noon for 1/2hour then back to bed for me at 9 or 10.
so that would be a no because someone is usually in it. other wise no, no since, just getting back in it. i at least pull the blankets across it.

I'm usually Up and out before DH is. And he doesn't make it.
I do not have to look at it all day. My room is upstairs so it doesn't bother me. We also only have a duvet. So when I do go up and see it, it's only a matter of shaking it out and placing it back on the bed straight.

My DH makes fun of me because I am actually making it up as I get out of bed.

I even try to sleep as to not mess it up... Is there something wrong with me???

Shhhh... don't tell anyone... but I iron my pillowcases and duvet.
