I don't blame you! My coop and run are too far from my house for me to be that lazy, and there are certainly days when the weather is nasty out that I wish I could just open a window and fling food out and call it good.

Lazy...I recently read about fermenting the alfalfa cubes for chickens...I already buy them and feed them to my horses so...

I figured why not ferment some for my girls too.
I've been too lazy lately..just "started" them this afternoon.

Someday, in another world where I have money, I want to have a coop that has a covered walkway to the coop so that chicken runs in -30c doesn't feel so bad.
