I think most men like subtle makeup, the kind that gently highlights or lightly camouflages. When they say "no make- up," they usually mean the obvious, really noticeable kind.

If a man can tell you're wearing it, you've too much on. If you ask Mr. Saddi, he'll say I wear lipstick, there's actually 6 products on, but all he noticed is that there's faint lip prints on my coffee mug.

DG/F, God love her, wears too much lipstick and try as I might, she says she looks "washed out" without it. Stupid advertising. Y'all girls, seriously, look marvelous in your own God-given beauty. One guys opinion.

Some women look gorgeous with no makeup. Some look hideous with no makeup. NOBODY looks good with gobs of makeup. I will stare at women in the grocery store if they have gobs on, with their upswept do, high heels, and glamour galore. I stare the way I would stare at a hooker in church. They probably take stares to be a sign of approval.

There is a big difference between tasteful makeup and hooker or Tammy Faye Baker makeup.

Years ago, my BF used to bug me, telling me I should put on some makeup. I was wearing the full 9 yards, so I protested. One morning, she saw me with no makeup and said "Oh, my. You DO wear a lot of makeup." I thought she looked like a hooker, by the way.

(I voted null vote to see the results. I didn't vote in place of my husband because he wouldn't be straight with me anyways. I guess he thinks as long as the gettin's good, don't muddy the waters.)

Well, I don't wear make up...DH wishes I would - too bad for him, we've been together for 12 years now so he should know by now I'm not gonna start

I put off the "weird-o" vibe... Hey if you're a creepy stalker type man, look at me! I don't know how I do it, but I do

With make-up it's just worse

Plus, I won't use any of that stuff on my skin. I will only use things that have not been tested on animals, and that includes cleaners and such. I used to be all organic/no animal testing, but that's too expensive with $ so tight anymore... Anyway, I like to think I don't "need" it to look good
