That's hilarious, and super true! But there is no right answer, everyone prefers something different... The only thing I dont agree with at all is thinking that men who say they dont prefer the makeup look are lying, thats not true at all. Some do, some dont, period. Quite often it depends on the women, some look better with, some without. I do both looks depending on where I am. Oregon Country fair? NONE; Corporate America? SOME; Halloween? TONS

Hmm . . . most guys I know don't like make up . . . though a lot of them do mistake girls with make up done right for girls without make up. I've tried varying degrees of make up to test my SO, down to the very slightest of touches with mascara. He can always spot it, and will refuse to kiss me until I wash it off. If I ever go insane and actually want to wear make up, that could become a problem.

One of our friends likes to say that when he's looking for a night of fun, he looks for girls with make up. When he wants a relationship, he looks for girls without. Another friend says it's disgusting when you kiss a cheek or lips and all you can taste is her make up . . . I think the same friend also said that when he sees a girl with make up, he can't help but wonder what kind of ogre face she's trying to hide.

I think it's an interesting poll. I had no idea so many men preferred make up. I thought that, at most, they wouldn't really care, kinda like how you can get a hair cut and they never notice unless it's something drastic. Shows me how much I know.

Holy cow, I never thought of this. I've had some friends who wore pretty heavy makeup. I just tried to imagine being a guy, and kissing them on their face, and I think I threw up a little in my mouth. Wow.

I've bought some 'fancy' foundations that are as close to paint as you can get. I don't know how people can wear those. It's as comfortable as having saran wrap over your face. I use the same kind I used in high school, costs $5, just evens out my skin tone. But I'm starting to think twice about this. Would I be willing to kiss my own face??????? My son hates it when I wear makeup. He says I smell funny when I do.

I always wear make up............... can't see anything wrong in making an effort, it takes little time and I feel better with it on.... without it am far too pasty faced.......... don't see anything wrong in enhancing what nature left out....

All of the guys that I know prefer women WITHOUT makeup. They say that they like natural beauty. The tend to find women who wear makeup unattractive. The won't date women who wear makeup. Says the makeup gets all over their clothes, etc.

Never worked that way with me. When i had makeup on they were like a swarm of flys...without makeup i never got asked out. I didnt wear a ton of makeup..it always looked soft and pretty.

Here's my preferences I'd like to envision in my S/O

Long curly hair, freckles lightly done, and teeth that have been taken care of............

Wife spends an hour a day straightening her hair

Wife puts on foundation makeup and blush covers freckles

Wife has nice teeth

She doesn't realize it, but she could be saving herself Sooooooooooo much time and look just as good and/or better IMO if she believed me. She doesn't though, so .......

I've never worn makeup - well, actually, when I was a teen I did, trying to cover up a horrid case of acne, which only made it worse, of course

I learned I just shouldn't wear it, after a course of dermatological treatments (I can't remember what it was, but it made my face hard, so hard it cracked when I smiled, it hurt!!) my face cleared somewhat, and I never touched it again. I'm 53, and up until this bout with Lyme disease I had and the IV antibiotics, I still got zits the week before my period - so far they haven't returned. Maybe I finally grew up?

Hubby prefers it that way, he hates makeup, thankfully! (I null-voted, I'm not voting for him). Long hair, too, he doesn't want me to cut it, so when he announced he was getting a crew cut I said I was, too

. Hey, if I can't cut my hair, neither can he!

I can't say I know many guys who really like makeup, most tolerate it, I'll bet even more don't even notice one way or another!

I don't like to see women looking like plain Janes, but I also don't like to see them looking like painted billboards either. Women should wear enough makeup to cover their flaws and accent their beauty. Whatever makeup they wear should not look like they're weariing any.

Also, their hair should be cut regularly by a stylist. Even if they have hair down to their knees, it should occasionally be trimmed professionally and worn in a style that suits their face and body type.

"Vanity, thy name is woman", so act like it.
