Poll: How many chickens do you have?

When it's not so dark out, we were getting too many eggs, like a dozen a day. Now it is none, except for the occasional duck egg.

I have 23 at the moment and looking to get a bigger coop

4 and a half here. Have room to grow but i keep ending up with cockrels the half is a cockrel

Great idea, I wonder who has the most as well! I have 22 at the moment. But one day it would be nice to have a larger, better setup for breeding.

Yeah. Mine have enough space, but we only have one thing for breeding, and it's not winterized, and that is prime breeding season

Many serious breeders breed during winter so they hatch eggs for showing young adult birds during fall. Plus then they are ready next winter, having been laying for a while. A very good question
