This si perfect, my mom just asked "What is the average amount of chickens someone has?" (we just bought 11 more today) I answered "How am I suposed to know?" so i guess i will tell her to look at this.

I have 37 now. I plan on adding to my flock in the future. Anyone have TURKENS or TURKEN EGGS(Showgirls count too)?!?!?!? hee hee hee. I'm serious though.

Alas, its 0 and likely to stay that way for a while. No chickens allowed in town.

I am writing the town council to request a rule change but I'm not the organizing/leader type so the whole change the law campaign thing is beyond me.

When the economy improves we will probably seek a piece of agriculture-zoned, country land. But the crash hit our credit rating hard so that's not in the immediate future.

I just have to keep enjoying your chickens for now.

Our flock fluctuates with the seasons. Right now, we have 6 hens. 6 birds just left our flock, so we did have 12 chickens. Last spring we had about a dozen, some of whom ended up in our freezer. But, there are 3 mainstays, and each season, we seem to add 1 or 2 to the permanent flock. We will see how this year's 2 newcomers do.
